Quill Dynamics Limited © is a UK based company, founded in May 2025 with the vision to streamline drone operations to equip fighting forces for the modern battlefield. The conflict in Ukraine has shown time and time again that cheap, replenishable drones can be incredibly efficient against hardware often costing orders of magnitude more than themselves. However, whilst the concept has been proven, it has not been optimised. Ukrainian forces, along with fellow NATO member states, have simply zip-tied munitions and battery packs onto hobbyist, off-the-shelf drones which, while effective in the short term, leads to an increased workload for the front-line solder.

Founded by three students based in London reading War Studies, Physics, and Aeronautical Engineering, our motivation: to design a modular, easy to assemble, cheap drone that can be used in surveillance and defence applications in a political climate which has not been more volatile since the conclusion of the Cold War.

Motivated to keep Europe safe with products manufactured in Europe by students from Europe. It is time for European defence to regain its autonomy.
